The inspiration of Ray Ban sunglasses was coming from problem met by an air force lieutenant. In 1923, this lieutenant got a task to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. However, when flying across the ocean, he felt troubled by the strong sunshine. After getting off the plane, he even got ill. The Bausch and Lomb Company developed a kind of glasses. This kind of sunglasses can absorb most of the sunshine but release the least heat. So they called this kind of glasses that can make you keep a clear vision, Ray Ban. So Ray Ban focuses on the production of aviators sunglasses. Later, concerning the need of people, Ray Ban developed many different kinds of sunglasses. Now, Ray Ban has become one of the world best sunglass brands.
