The Result of Being Addicted to Playing Cards

I was addicted to playing cards several years ago. I would wear a pair of cool sunglasses and went out playing cards at ten o’clock everyday morning and came back home very late almost every night. When my five months old baby suffered from high fever one time, I was playing cards with my friends seriously. My husband, who was the vice manager of Polaroid sunglasses company, called me and asked me to go home as quickly as possible. I was out of control and forgot going home that night. He divorced me angrily several days later, saying that I was an incompetent mother. I knew I was wrong, but he did not forgive me no matter how I apologized. After divorced, I did not play cards anymore. I wore a pair of cheap sunglasses and found a job in a large restaurant as a porter half years later. To my surprise, I saw my ex-husband in the restaurant one day at noon three years later. He had remarried with another woman, who wore a pair of Chanel sunglasses that day. She was much prettier than me, and I thought she was a good mother.
