To Pay Back the Old Debt of Gratitude

Nancy liked her luxury replica watch sent by her boyfriend very much. For two weeks, it had almost become a nervous week after losing the exact replica watch on the subway. She placed ads in the newspapers and over the radio, offering a reward for the person who returns the replica watch. And she had almost given up hope when the telephone came. A kind, elderly female voice in formed her that she had found the watch in a seat. She said she would return the watch to Nancy next day and she didn’t want any reward because her nice watch once was lost when she was young. Thanks to a kind, unknown person returned it to her the next day. She felt she was only paying back an old debt of gratitude. Nancy had thanked the kind woman and asked her name, but she said it wasn’t important. So here was the watch once again in Nancy’s Hand.
